And for that reason, when received a personal invitation to attend an event showcasing Belcolade’s commitment to excellence in chocolate craftsmanship, highlighting its dedication to sustainability through the Cacao-Trace program, Kak Fas accepted the invite though still vaque considering what is Belcolade all about?

And Becolade recently held a magical chocolate tasting experience with more than 80 guests’ attendance, including His Excellency Peter Van Acker, Ambassador of Belgium to Malaysia, whom officiated this one-of-a-kind chocolate appreciation event, held at Colony@Star Boulevard, Kuala Lumpur.
Also present are Sandy Shiek, Marketing Director or Puratos Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei; Luc-Olivier Rahier, Product Manager of Real Chocolate, Puratos Belgium and Gautron Mathias, Chef Pâtissier Démonstrateur of Puratos France along with the Puratos Malaysia’s chefs.

The guests were welcomed with arrays of refreshment, made with Puratos’s range of Bakery items and hand-crafted Real Belgian Citrus Fromage shots.
One of the key highlights of the program was the astonishment of the official launch of Belcolade’s new branding via the percussion LED drum play.
Up next was the sharing session led by Luc-Olivier Rahier where he shared on Belcolade’s product range, especially on how it’s interlinked to The Cacao-Trace Sustainable Cocoa program, 'Great Taste, Doing Good'.

According to him, the Cacao-Trace chocolate takes taste to a whole new level of excellence thanks to a unique fermentation process that guarantees the best cocoa quality and enhances the flavors of every chocolate drop.
“Doing Good is our focus so Cacao-Trace farmers benefit from the value they create. Our unique Chocolate Bonus and Quality Premium result in life changing impact for our cocoa farmers,” he added.

There were various chocolatepairing patisserie, pralines and bon bons, presented by Gautron Mathias, with Puratos Malaysia’s chefs.
During the tasting session, one of the awe-inspiringly Combawa Praline was presented.
It consists with a blend of Belcolade’s M. Plant-Based Cacao-Trace (milk-alike plant-based Belgian chocolate), Belcolade Selection Lait Cacao-Trace Chocolate and a hint of Kaffir lime that indulgenced many guests.
