Apa kah anda mempunyai perancangan untuk memulakan aktiviti kesihatan dengan aktif bersukan atau pun sudah ada hajat untuk sertai mana-mana larian yang bakal diadakan pada tahun 2020.

Disamping memilih kasut dan produk-produk sukan yang ada, pengunjung boleh pula menyertai pelbagai aktiviti permainan sukan di mana mereka boleh memenangi baucer.
Sesuai pula dengan kempen 'Back To School' tujuan karnival ini diadakan memang tepat pada masanya di mana objektif Al-Ikhsan mahu menyumbang kebajikan di mana kasut-kasut sekolah dijual pada harga lebih murah.
"Inilah cara kami untuk membantu masyarakat yang kurang berkemampuan memiliki kasut sekolah mahu pun kasut sukan yang mampu beli," ujar CEO Al-Ikhsan, Vach Pillutla ketika ditemui pada majlis pelancaran karnival tersebut baru-baru ini.

REGISTRATION FOR THE MUSIC RUN 4 NOV. NOW OPEN
The fourth edition of The Music Run™ by AIA Vitality will take place on 4th November at a new home at the rejuvenated world class sporting complex, KL Sports City. This year’s event will be the first in the world to see the addition of a new timed 10k track, allowing Music Runners in KL to take their fitness game to new highs.
The Music Run™ held its inaugural event in Kuala Lumpur in 2014 and since then has been
experienced by more than 200,000 runners across 25 events and 12 countries from Malaysia to South Africa. Last year’s KL event saw a record 20,000 runners packed Sepang International Circuit for the ultimate 5k run, culminating in an epic finish line music festival.
The Music Run™ is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with presenting sponsor, AIA Malaysia. 'ALTHEA BODY BOX' - AWESOME PRODUCT OF HEAD TO TOE

Well, for one reason it is during the month of Christmas that Kak Fas received a set of Holiday Body Box by the Korean brand, Althea.
Actually, yours truly am the one who requested for the review of the exclusive Holiday Body Box from Tammy Lim through facebook. And was surprised to have the box mailed in less than a week from Korea mind you. Wow! It was truly a fast courier indeed.
Having received the parcel and unboxing the light blue box, the first item that caught my attention was the lovely pink Etti shower ball accompanied by 7 products of different categories namely, My Body Cotton Flower cleanser and lotion; Aida Wonder Shiny Scrub; Wonder Bikiny Body Patch; Demeter Juicy Oil White musk body essence mist; Monthly New Feet Pack and Calmia Silky Perfect Foot Peeling.
With all that stuff the box was only sold for RM94 from its original price of RM340, which is 72% discount made available during the month of Christmas. And no wonder its sold out fast. Good bargain indeed and Kak Fas was lucky to get hold of it as a ‘gift’ for Christmas from Althea.

But, honestly speaking, Kak Fas was unaware of the existence of Althea until then.
Though the meaning of Althea is related to a Greek word and is associated with healing power, this product which is established from South Korea indeed speaks for itself. It heals the body and mind of every individual who uses it especially this body box set.
Inside the box, one is able to be pampered from head to toe giving our body the healing of wellness and comfort.
Being a first user of this brand, Kak Fas off course tried the Innisfree Cotton Flower Body, My Body Cleanser as that is the first product we would touch as soon as we are in the bathroom.
The packing of transparent plastic with light blue icon and color of flower balls looks impressive but most of all that ‘heals’ my mind and soul is its p;easant scent extracted from the cotton plant flowers and Shea Butter.
When showering with it, Kak Fas feels it moisturizes my dry skin making it feels soft and smooth, due to the Hyaluronic Acid containing in the gel, thus making my bath a relaxing and enjoyable one.
However, it would be more easier if the plastic bottle is made slightly thinner for easier pressing for the liquid to flow easily on to the palm. But be careful to handle the black cap as the joint is too delicate to withstand strong handling. It should be made more stronger so that frequent push up will not damage the joint. Mine was slightly loosen though had handled it with care.
Inspired by the nature of Jeju Island, this delicate and rich fragrance do really add pleasure to our body care. It is indeed my favourite and first choice out of the box.
And during bath, use the cute pink Etti Shower Ball to wipe of residues left after using the ‘Wonder Shiny Scrub” that helps to wash away dead skin cells. This deep cleansing scrub contains walnut particles that is effective for removing dead skin cells, sebum and body odour.
Kak Fas like the scent of the walnut that appears brown and somehow smells like a kiwi fruit hihi….and it does make the skin feels shiny and silky as it’s name implied. It may even has potential to even out skin tones.
Anyway, after that refreshing bath, you may want to try the Wonder Bikiny Body Patch which comes in a set of 6 packs which can last for 3 weeks.
This product is recommended if one needs to burn up certain areas of the body may it be the shoulder, abdomen, forearm, side, butt or thigh.

RUN THROUGH NATURE IN PENANG WITH SORR 2017
Its back… yes SORR is back for the 5th consecutive years…
And this year “Save Our Rainforest Race” (SORR2017) is heading north to Penang Island, coming 25th March 2017.
Though you may find the date still a few months away but its best you register earlier as seats are limited and registration closes on 21st March 2017.
SORR 2017 which is organized by The Association for the Protection of Natural Heritage of Malaysia or in short PEKA Malaysia aims to gather 1,000 participants across the country during the race.
Prior to that, a press conference held recently saw PEKA Malaysia taking a new leaf by launching its official song and video clip entitled “Khazanah Alam”, written and composed by Bob AF and performed by Cempaka School students to an applause of guest.
With that official song, PEKA Malaysia President, Puan Sri Shariffa Sabrina Syed Akil hopes the song and video clips be be played and aired on radio and television throughout the country as support for PEKA’S efforts in creating awareness to netizens to be more attentive and care for Malaysia’s national heritage.
So to show more support… runners and public at large do mark your calendars for the SORR2017 which is going to be a 15.5 km run starting and ending at Sekolah Menengah Teluk Bahang, Penang and nvolving several areas such as Pulau Punang National Park, Pulau Pinang Forest Park as well as nearby settlements.
During the run, participants will pass through some checkpoints with variety of activities such as replanting trees etc with the aim to create awareness on the importance of conserving our tropical rainforest.
Sounds interesting right? While running and breathing fresh air you enjoy planting trees as well… so that one day you could be proud to tell your siblings or family and say “this is the tree that dad/mum plant and now it has grown so big”…lol
Off course, with this sort of run you should not be alone but do it with your partner may it be your bff or your wife or whoever it may be, both of you can be proud that you have done deed to earth.
An to be that part of the community, PEKA Malaysia only charge a fee of RM80 per person for a 2 person team, meaning a total of RM160 per team. And that fee includes breakfast, lunch, t-shirt, race kit and a tree for each team.

TALLEST XMAS TREE REACHES 'TWIN TOWER'
Look! That Christmas Tree… its almost reaching the height of the Petronas Twin Tower, KLCC….is that so?
Welll… I was only kidding.. But it’s the tallest in Malaysia u alls… Its just that when Kak Fas took this picture it was on a low angle shot and that’s why it looks like it’s reaching up to the sky…
For your info this Chiristmas that’s located at the KLCC Esplanade stands 32 meters tall (100 feet) weighing a whopping 41,698 kg and adorned with 2,500 baubles, 3,714 garland leaves with 40,000 LED bulbs and 319 pieces of star shaped LED lights.
Building it up took several workers, a crane and 6 days to assemble thus recognixed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the Tallest Christmas Tree in Malaysia in 2014 and 2015, a gift from Suria KLCC to all their shoppers and visitors alike. They can take a pix, selfie or wefie besides the tree that will be there until 3rd January 2017.
So, there’s still plenty of time if you have not been there. And sspecially for Christmas shoppers too, as soon as you enter the prestigious shopping destination, Suria KLCC welcomed you with a Santa Village décor theme right in the middle of Centre Court.

On that note, Andrew Brien, Executive Director / CEO of Suria KLCC in his speech says that their aim is to raise RM10,000 through the sales of gift boxes from 26th November to 26th December.
Shoppers and visitors can do their part in making a difference for these sick patients who are living with fear, stress and uncertainty by donating RM10 for a gift box. They can then write down their name on the gift box and place it at the Christmas art installation decoration on ground floor Park Mall entrance. 100 percent of these proceeds will be channeled to ANGSANAcare.
Also present at the event was the Chairperson of ANGSANAcare, Ria Thomas who during her short speech mentioned that ANGSANAcare phychoytherapists asses and support the emotional needs of the children in their care.
Since it is the season of giving, Suria KLCC will be rewarding shoppers with gifts for purchases made between 25 November 2016 and 3 January 2017. Two exsclusive gifts await shoppers who spend a minimum of RM650 and RM3,000 respectively in a single receipt.

Tanjung Rhu SwimFest – 10 December 2016 (Langkawi)
Organised by E-Plus Global Sdn Bhd with the support of Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), this event is one of the triple series of programmes under the umbrella of AkTION LANGKAWI which includes Mount (Mt.) Mat Chinchang SkyBridge Climb as well as the Tuba Trail Run which will run in the first quarter of 2017.
Starting by the captivating Tanjung Rhu beach, participants will be able to swim close to international borders, which provides a unique opportunity to experience Malaysia and Thailand in a single location.

Runners have a choice of three categories – 10km, 5km or 2.5km Family Run route. BDB MARATHON JITRA RUN - 12 NOVEMBER
Professional runners would love this bit of news that Kak Fas is sharing...
Hear me...hear me... lend me your ears .... for this coming 12 November 2016, the BDB Marathon Jitra 2016 challenge is back.
For this third installation of a three part series of events under the BDB Triple Challenge 2016, the marathon of full 42 km category will be flagged off from the Darulaman Lake /Tasik Darulaman as early as 5am by Dato’ Izham Yusoff, Group Managing Director of Bina Darulaman Berhad.
For early birds, guess it wouldnt be a problem to be at the frontline at 5 am considering their love for running. But if 42 km is sweat and tears... no worries there are three other categories to look forward to - 21km, 10km and 5 km. So pick the ones that best suits your energy ya....
Expected to attract around 3,000 participants,runnners would experience a combination of flat road and rolling hills whilst experiencing scenery of paddy fields and discovering the beautiful rural ambience of Jitra, as well as other parts of Kedah.

'AkTION LANGKAWI' SERIES STARTS 10 DECEMBER
Setiap kali mendengar LANGKAWI …. nama kepulauan kelahiran Mahsuri ini sudah cukup menggamit seribu satu memori manis mahu pun pahit kepada diri Kak Fas.
Banyak peristiwa yang dilalui di kepulauan yang mendapat status ‘Pulau Bebas Cukai’ ini. Di sinilah bermulanya suami Kak Fas memulakan penerbitan peta pertama Langkawi yang dinamakan ‘Hello Langkawi’ dan di sini jugalah dia membantu memulakan operasi Makam Mahsuri selepas diminta disiapkan dalam tempoh dua minggu oleh bekas Perdana Menteri ketika itu, Tun Mahathir Mohamed, memandangkan beliau mahu membawa delegasi CHOGM bermesyuarat di Langkawi dan kemudian melawat Makam Mahsuri sebagai salah satu agenda lawatan.
Namun bagi Kak Fas, kenangan yang paling indah adalah ketika membuat penulisan berkaitan cerita lagenda ‘Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup’ untuk Majalah WANITA, sungguh pun ada berita yang mengatakan kisah itu sebenarnya berlaku di Klang, Selangor.
Sehingga sekarang, jalan dan kawasan yang Kak Fas membuat liputan itu diberikan nama 'Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup'. Brangkali ekoran daripada story Kak Fas yang keluar tu kut…. Huhu…terasa puas dapat memberi sumbangan di situ ...

Kenapa Kak Fas teringat Langkawi?
Well… its because this morning, Kak Fas was at a press conference about another running event coming soon. This one is called ‘AkTION LANGKAWI’….
Yes, another good news for professional runners, nature and sports lovers and those who loves running to keep fit and healthy.
This run is an expansion of the successful pilot project of Tuba Trail Run last April organized by E-Plus Global Sdn Bhd and supported by Langkawi Development Authority (LADA).
But what makes it more interesting is that this time around it offers a triple treat for eco-sport athletes around the world beginning with Tanjung Rhu SwimFest on 10 December to Mt. Mat Chinchang SkyBridge Climb happening 18 February 2017 and ends with the Tuba Trail Run two months later on 8 April 2017.
Jadi apa lagi… mark your calendar and choose any one of those runs or maybe participate in all three if you are also a swimmer.

Tanjung Rhu SwimFest – 10 December 2016
Expects to receive about 300 swimmers local and international, the Tanjung Rhu SwimFest is an open water swimming competition available in three categories. The two-kilometer route is suitable for budding swimmers, while the four and six kilometer routes are recommended for multi-sport athletes including triathletes, and long distance swim enthusiasts.
Starting by the captivating Tanjung Rhu beach, participants will be able to swim close to international borders, which provides a unique opportunity to experience Malaysia and Thailand in a single location. The Tanjung Rhu SwimFest will be the beach’s first international open water swimming event.
Mt. Mat Chinchang SkyBridge Climb – 18 Februry 2017
This is the first time a trail be opened exclusively for the Mt. Mat Chinchang SkyBridge Climb on raceday. The 4.5-kilometer climb finishes at the peak of the mountain after passing the cable car’s Middle Station, crossing across the renowned SkyBridge as well as climbing up to the Top Station. The climb will expect to see about 500 participants,bringing new excitement for enthusiasts of all levels and will be a truly unique way to discover the hidden jewels of Mt. Mat Chinchang.
Tuba Trail Run – 8 April 2017
With 99 tropical islands lie within the boundaries of Langkawi, it is impossible to discover every single forest. Tuba Trail Run, a project to provide exposure to the less explored islands of Pulau Tuba and Pulau Dayang Bunting, will continue to be an eye-opener for first-timers and returning participants as they explore deeper on the islands’ distinct culture.
The 2017 edition will offer three varied distances, including a 4-kilometer fun run, a new 15-kilometer route and the 30-kilometer route to cater to runners of all levels.

Pulau yang mencipta seribu satu kenangan seperti yang Kak Fas cerita awal-awal tadi.
Kak Fas loves the place – especially island hopping to Pulau Dayang Bunting and viewing the other small 99 islands incorporating it. It really was years back since Kak Fas went island hopping in Langkawi.
Though in the 90’s the island was more beautiful and serene sebab tak banyak pembangunan sekitar tetapi kini ia sudah membangun dengan begitu pesat sekali….. The town is now packed up with high buildings and populated day by day with tourist local and international flourishing in numbers.
Lebih-lebih lagi when in 2007, UNESCO declared the Langkawi archipelago as one of 94 globally recognised Geoparks from 27 countries, endorsing its natural beauty, ecological harmony and archeological, geological and cultural significance, thus making Langkawi a must tourist destionation of Malaysia.

CARAVAN & CAMPING IN KL CITY - 12 NOVEMBER
Away from the normal norm of running... why not try camping for the fun of it, what;s more its city camping.
That would be a great option right, especially for travellers on a budget and prefer to spend on something different during this school holidays.
So here;s the catch....
For the first time in history, Kuala Lumpur City Centre will expect around 500 participants to join the 'Caravan & Camping In The City of Kuala Lumpur' programme named #CARACAMP 2016.
Yes you heard it right, program yang bakal dianjurkan oleh Persatuan Industri Karavan & Perkhemahan Malaysia dengan sokongan rakan strategik Pusat Pelancongan Malaysia (MATIC) serta Kementerian Pelancongan dan Kebudayaan Malaysia (MOTAC), Inbound Tourism Association dan beberapa lagi agensi lain akan diadakan pada 12 dan 13 November 2016 ini.
Bertempat di Lanai, MATIC, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, sepanjang dua hari satu malam tersebut, pelbagai activiti yang berkait rapat dengan perkhemahan dan percutian karavan akan di adakan.
Jadi selama 24 jam, persekitaran kawasan berhadapan Petronas Twin Towers/KLCC ini akan bermandikan cahaya lampu-lampu perkhemahan sepanjang malam dengan acara persembahan pentas oleh artis-artis popular serta aktiviti lain bermula jam 10 pagi hingga 10 pagi keesokan harinya.
Dengan adanya 'food truck' serta pelbagai vendor lain menjual pelbagai produk sudah tentu 'campers' akan berjaga malam tak gitu? Kalau tidor pun tidor ayam kata orang...
Its one of a lifetime that you could camp in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Tidak hairanlah Kumpulan Expatriates antaranya seperti Kuala Lumpur Fun Expats Group dan KL Internations sudah pun menempah 10 khemah dan 1 karavan di mana lebih kurang 50 orang expatriat dijangka akan bersama menyokong kempen 'I love KL'.
Selain warga expatriate, golongan backpackers mahu pun pelajar sekolah yang sedang bercuti dari kampung sudah tentu boleh berkunjung ke KL dan berjimat belanja dengan berkhemah.
Sambil bermalam mereka berpeluang belajar cara mengubahsuai sebuah kenderaan pacuan empat roda (4x4) kepada overlander yang bersedia untuk menyertai mana-mana aktiviti yang mencabar dalam negara dan juga di luar negara. Aktiviti begini akan diterajui oleh kumpulan Malaysian Caravan.
Mereka yang dalam golongan 40 orang akan membawa 10 buah kenderaan khas bagi tujuan berkenaan.
Selain itu, turut diperkenalkan beberapa lagi cara berkhemah seperti Glamping (Glamour Camping) oleh Tanah Aina di mana beberapa khemah Glamping yang lengkap dengan peralatan umpa hotel akan dipamerkan.
Juga diperkenalkan konsep; Caravan Park oleh Kontena Villa Sdn Bhd., yang menyediakan pelbagai fasiliti insfrastruktur seperti elektrik, air dan lain-lain. Bahkan mereka aka menyediakan ruang seperti hammock, barbekue yang bersesuaian dengan permintaan percutian outdoor pada masa ini.
Bagi Persatuan Pelancongan Negeri Johor yang turut menyokong, mereka akan membawakan Luxury Coach - sebuah bas khas yang diubahsuai menjadi seperti sebuah hotel bergerak untuk dipamerkan.
Menariknya program ini bukan sahaja memberi pengalaman 'out door camping' kepada peserta tetapi memberi peluang perniagaan juga kepada peniaga kecil di mana sebuah kawasan 'marketplace' disediakan khas untuk mereka yang ingin berniaga barangan berkaitan perkhemahan serta 'food truck' bagi kemudahan makan.

CARAVAN & CAMPING IN KL CITY - 12 NOVEMBER
Away from the normal norm of running... why not try camping for the fun of it, what;s more its city camping.
That would be a great option right, especially for travellers on a budget and prefer to spend on something different during this school holidays.
So here;s the catch....
For the first time in history, Kuala Lumpur City Centre will expect around 500 participants to join the 'Caravan & Camping In The City of Kuala Lumpur' programme named #CARACAMP 2016.
Yes you heard it right, program yang bakal dianjurkan oleh Persatuan Industri Karavan & Perkhemahan Malaysia dengan sokongan rakan strategik Pusat Pelancongan Malaysia (MATIC) serta Kementerian Pelancongan dan Kebudayaan Malaysia (MOTAC), Inbound Tourism Association dan beberapa lagi agensi lain akan diadakan pada 12 dan 13 November 2016 ini.
Bertempat di Lanai, MATIC, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, sepanjang dua hari satu malam tersebut, pelbagai activiti yang berkait rapat dengan perkhemahan dan percutian karavan akan di adakan.
Jadi selama 24 jam, persekitaran kawasan berhadapan Petronas Twin Towers/KLCC ini akan bermandikan cahaya lampu-lampu perkhemahan sepanjang malam dengan acara persembahan pentas oleh artis-artis popular serta aktiviti lain bermula jam 10 pagi hingga 10 pagi keesokan harinya.
Dengan adanya 'food truck' serta pelbagai vendor lain menjual pelbagai produk sudah tentu 'campers' akan berjaga malam tak gitu? Kalau tidor pun tidor ayam kata orang...
Its one of a lifetime that you could camp in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Tidak hairanlah Kumpulan Expatriates antaranya seperti Kuala Lumpur Fun Expats Group dan KL Internations sudah pun menempah 10 khemah dan 1 karavan di mana lebih kurang 50 orang expatriat dijangka akan bersama menyokong kempen 'I love KL'.
Selain warga expatriate, golongan backpackers mahu pun pelajar sekolah yang sedang bercuti dari kampung sudah tentu boleh berkunjung ke KL dan berjimat belanja dengan berkhemah.
Sambil bermalam mereka berpeluang belajar cara mengubahsuai sebuah kenderaan pacuan empat roda (4x4) kepada overlander yang bersedia untuk menyertai mana-mana aktiviti yang mencabar dalam negara dan juga di luar negara. Aktiviti begini akan diterajui oleh kumpulan Malaysian Caravan.
Mereka yang dalam golongan 40 orang akan membawa 10 buah kenderaan khas bagi tujuan berkenaan.
Selain itu, turut diperkenalkan beberapa lagi cara berkhemah seperti Glamping (Glamour Camping) oleh Tanah Aina di mana beberapa khemah Glamping yang lengkap dengan peralatan umpa hotel akan dipamerkan.
Juga diperkenalkan konsep; Caravan Park oleh Kontena Villa Sdn Bhd., yang menyediakan pelbagai fasiliti insfrastruktur seperti elektrik, air dan lain-lain. Bahkan mereka aka menyediakan ruang seperti hammock, barbekue yang bersesuaian dengan permintaan percutian outdoor pada masa ini.
Bagi Persatuan Pelancongan Negeri Johor yang turut menyokong, mereka akan membawakan Luxury Coach - sebuah bas khas yang diubahsuai menjadi seperti sebuah hotel bergerak untuk dipamerkan.
Menariknya program ini bukan sahaja memberi pengalaman 'out door camping' kepada peserta tetapi memberi peluang perniagaan juga kepada peniaga kecil di mana sebuah kawasan 'marketplace' disediakan khas untuk mereka yang ingin berniaga barangan berkaitan perkhemahan serta 'food truck' bagi kemudahan makan.
Bercirikan ala 'carboot sale' atau 'pasar karat' ia memberi peluang kepada peniaga malah tiada caj dikenakan bagi yang terpilih.
Dah bercerita panjang ni nak tahu juga kan berapa pulak harganya?
- Setiap khemah yang dibawa sendiri akan dikenakan yuran sebanyak RM100 untuk empat orang.
- RM200 untuk 4 orang yang tiada khemah tetapi disediakan oleh #caracamp
- Bagi yang mempunyai karavan boleh sewa tapak pada harga RM100.
- Pasar 'outdoor' dan aktiviti-aktiviti lain terbuka pada umum tanpa bayaran
Meh dengar sedikit apa kata Lisza Abd, Kadir (lima dari kiri), selaku Pengerusi Penganjur:
"Dengan adanya #campcara2016 ini kami berharap orang ramai dapat hadir untuk melihat serta mengalami sendiri keseronokan aktiviti perkhemahan dan percutian karavan serta mendapatkan informasi-informasi yang berkaitan dalam aktiviti perkhemahan."
Kata pula tetamu kehormat, Timbalan KSU Pelancongan, Datuk Rashidi Hasbullah (dua dari kanan) :
"Kejayaan program ini akan menjadi perintis untuk mengadakan satu lagi program yang lebih besar melibatkan negara Asia. Ini adalah satu-satunya peluang untuk anda mengalami pengalaman bermalam di tengah kota Kuala Lumpur. Syabas kepada pihak penganjur,"
